These aren't yours are they?
No. They belong to the man that farms for Judy's mom. Actually I think they belong to his wife. At least she's the one that takes care of them.
They live a couple of miles from us and I go by there quite often. So they were near the fence on Thursday and I stopped to take the picture.
The jack's name is Jasper. The foal's name is Jewel. I don't know the jenny's name.
There's dispute about whether or not they are a subspecies of horse or a separate species. Depending upon your opinion they are scientifically Equus asinus.
I think they are kind of cute. But there is really good reason that the "asinus" part of their name has come to mean what it means.
